The right coffee
for the day ahead.
The Askespresso app connects to your calendar and your health app, reads what the day is going to ask of you, and suggests the roast, the dose, and the hour for every cup. You choose what it can read.
Reads your calendar
An early flight, a late stand-up, a day of back-to-back calls: the suggestion follows the shape of the day.
Listens to your health app
Last night’s sleep and today’s workout set the dose, and the last cup is timed to protect tonight’s sleep.
Takes you to the farm
Virtual reality visits to the estate in Karnataka and to the roaster, to watch a batch like yours turn from green to brown.
Questions about the app
The app is in the works. Join the waitlist above for an invitation to the first release.
What does the app read, and who sees it?
Only what you allow. Your phone asks separately for the calendar and for each kind of health data, and you can turn either off in its settings at any time. Nothing is read without that permission.
How does it decide on a coffee?
It looks at the day ahead: when your first commitment is, how long the day runs, how you slept, and whether you trained. From that it suggests a roast from your saved profile, a dose for your brewer, and the time for each cup, with the last one at least eight hours before you plan to sleep.
Is it medical advice?
No. The caffeine suggestions follow general public-health guidance. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, on medication, or have a heart or anxiety condition, ask your doctor what is right for you.
What are the virtual reality experiences?
Visits you take from your sofa: the shade-grown estate in Karnataka where the beans are picked, and the roaster where a batch like yours turns from green to brown. They open in a headset, or on the phone without one.
