Delete your data.

You can delete your Askespresso account and what we keep about you from the Askespresso app, on this page, or by writing to us.

Your account

One Askespresso account works on this website and in the app. Deleting it deletes your sign-in, the coffee profile, coffee preferences, favourite coffees, questions to Baba, and delivery details kept with it, and its link to your phones, and signs you out everywhere. In the app, open You, then Account, then Delete account. Or delete it here:

Your data in the app

Open You, then Privacy, then Delete my data. This clears everything the app keeps on your phone, including your taste profile, caffeine log, saved delivery details, and settings. It also deletes the coffee profile kept with us, with your taste, brewers, routine, and delivery details, and the questions you asked Baba. Orders you placed stay visible in the app.

Turning off “Keep it with Askespresso” in the app’s Settings deletes the coffee profile and the questions to Baba kept with us in the same way, stops keeping new questions, and leaves what is on your phone. Cups the app saved to Health Connect stay in Health Connect, where you can remove them.

Without the app

Email us at chanda.sayonsom@gmail.com from the address you ordered with or entered in the app, or include your order reference, and tell us what you would like deleted. We delete it within 30 days and reply when it is done.

What we delete

• Your account: your email address or phone number, your name, and how you sign in, including the link to a Google account.
• The coffee profile the app keeps with us, with its estimate of the coffee left at home.
• The coffee preferences and favourite coffees saved with your account.
• The questions you asked Baba Budan, in the app or on the website, with the start of each answer. You can also clear them yourself in Ask Baba.
• The delivery details of your last order, kept with your account so checkout is filled in.
• Grind questions you sent from the shop.
• Your newsletter subscription, if you ask. The unsubscribe link in any email also removes it.

What we keep

We keep order records, which hold your name, email, phone number, delivery address, the items, the amounts, and the payment reference, for as long as Indian tax law requires. After your account is deleted they are no longer linked to a sign-in.

What we do not keep

Your calendar and your Health Connect data are read on your phone and are never sent to us. Your caffeine log stays on your phone; the coffee profile carries only your average cups and caffeine a day over the past week and your most frequent drink, and these go with the profile. Of your Ask Baba chats we keep only the questions you typed, with the start of each answer; the answers you tapped are not kept. If you report a reply, that reply and the message that led to it are sent to us.

Your privacy describes everything the website and the app collect.
