Coffee gifts for the office, and for clients

Corporate coffee gifting that gets used: pantry brewers, a grinder that survives a shared kitchen, bags with your company's name on them, and a package with a GST invoice.

Most corporate gifts are opened once and put in a cupboard. Coffee is opened every morning. That is the whole argument for giving it.

The mistake is to give coffee without a way to make it well. An office with a bag of good beans and no grinder ends up with a jar of instant next to it within a week. So this guide is about the pantry as much as the bag.

Decide who it is for

A gift for a whole team wants a big brewer, a grinder, and 500 g bags. A gift for one client wants a smaller box with two bags and a card. My shop lets you put a name on a bag, so a client's name or a company's name can go on the label.

For more than ten boxes, write to me before you order and I will roast them together and send one invoice.

  1. A one-litre French press

The big glass press. Six cups in four minutes, and nothing to learn.

It is the brewer that survives an office. No filters to run out of, no settings, and anyone can make the second pot.

    ₹2,000 to ₹4,500

  2. An electric burr grinder

A grinder with steel burrs and a hopper that holds a few days of beans.

The pantry grinder is the difference between a coffee corner people use and one they walk past. Get one with a coarse setting for the press.

    ₹6,000 to ₹15,000

  3. A temperature-controlled kettle, 1.7 litres

A large kettle that holds water at a set temperature.

Boiling water on a dark roast tastes burnt. A kettle that holds 92 degrees fixes the office coffee more than any bean could.

    ₹2,500 to ₹6,000

  4. An airtight coffee canister

A tin with a lid that pushes the air out, or a valve that lets the gas escape.

Coffee is at its best in the first three weeks after roasting, and air is what takes it away. A canister on the counter beats the bag it came in.

    ₹900 to ₹3,500

  5. Double-walled glass cups

Glasses with two walls of glass and air between, so they stay cool to hold.

People finish coffee they can see. A set of six turns a pantry into a place people stop.

    ₹1,200 to ₹3,000 for six

  6. A bag of my medium roast

Single-origin arabica from one farm in Karnataka, roasted at home after the order is placed.

The medium roast is the one I suggest for a room full of different tastes. It works in a press, a moka pot, and a machine, and it forgives a grind that is a little off. For a client box, add the dark roast beside it.

    ₹750 for 250 g, ₹1,200 for 500 g, shipping free in India

Questions people ask

Can you put our company name on the bags?

Yes. Every bag has a name field when you order. Write the company name, or the client's name, and it goes on the label.

Do you give a GST invoice?

Yes. Ask for it in the note when you order, with your GST number, and it comes with the confirmation.

How far ahead should I order for Diwali or the new year?

Two weeks for up to ten boxes. For more, write to me a month ahead so I can plan the roasting, because every bag is roasted after the order is placed.
