Fresh-roasted coffee beans, delivered in Pune.

Pune has hills at its edges, universities in its middle, and a habit of long conversations. It is a city that brews properly, and I would like to send it coffee that deserves the kettle.

A bag ordered from Pune is roasted after the order, rested a day, and sent by courier. It usually arrives within a few days.

Coffee for Pune brewers

If you own a pour-over cone or an AeroPress, start with the light roast. The fruit in it shows best with those. If most of your coffee happens before a drive to Hinjewadi or Magarpatta, the medium roast in a moka pot is quick and forgiving.

Tell me your grinder and brewer and I will set the grind for it.

How the coffee reaches you

I buy green arabica from one small farm in the coffee hills of Karnataka, a few kilos at a time. I roast it at home on a small drum roaster, in batches of a few hundred grams, after my day job. I roast your bag after you order it, so it leaves within days of the roast and not months.

You choose light, medium, or dark, or you tell me the notes you like and I roast toward them. You can have whole beans, or tell me your brewer and I will grind for it. A 250 g bag is ₹750 and a 500 g bag is ₹1,200, with free shipping in India.

Who you are buying from

I am one person with a roaster in my kitchen. There is no team, no cafe, and no warehouse. When you write to me about a grinder or a shot that came out sour, I am the one who writes back, and I have made the same mistakes at my own counter.

Questions people ask

How long does delivery take?

I roast after you order, let the beans settle for a day, and hand the bag to the courier. Most cities in India receive it within a week of the order.

Is shipping really free?

Yes. Free shipping in India on every bag, 250 g or 500 g.

Which roast should I start with?

If you are unsure, start with the medium roast. It works in a moka pot, a French press, a pour-over, and an espresso machine, and it forgives a grind that is a little off.

The shop has the three roasts and the custom roast. If you are not sure, write to me at chanda.sayonsom@gmail.com and tell me how you brew.
