Coffee for software developers, roasted after you order it.
I build software for a living, so I know the shape of a developer's day: the standup, the long quiet block in the afternoon, the deploy that runs later than it should. Coffee sits inside all of that. I roast the kind of coffee I want at my own desk.
The beans are single origin from Karnataka, roasted after you order them, and ground for whatever you brew with. They arrive days from the roaster.

What developers usually order
The medium roast in a moka pot or an AeroPress is what I would start with. It is quick, it forgives a rough grind, and it holds its taste through a second cup. If you own an espresso machine, the dark roast is the one for milk drinks and the medium is the one for straight shots.
If you keep a brew log the way you keep a changelog, start with 15 g of coffee to 250 g of water for a pour-over, and adjust one thing at a time.
How the coffee reaches you
I buy green arabica from one small farm in the coffee hills of Karnataka, a few kilos at a time. I roast it at home on a small drum roaster, in batches of a few hundred grams, after my day job. I roast your bag after you order it, so it leaves within days of the roast and not months.
You choose light, medium, or dark, or you tell me the notes you like and I roast toward them. You can have whole beans, or tell me your brewer and I will grind for it. A 250 g bag is ₹750 and a 500 g bag is ₹1,200, with free shipping in India.
Who you are buying from
I am one person with a roaster in my kitchen. There is no team, no cafe, and no warehouse. When you write to me about a grinder or a shot that came out sour, I am the one who writes back, and I have made the same mistakes at my own counter.
Questions people ask
How long does delivery take?
I roast after you order, let the beans settle for a day, and hand the bag to the courier. Most cities in India receive it within a week of the order.
Is shipping really free?
Yes. Free shipping in India on every bag, 250 g or 500 g.
Which roast should I start with?
If you are unsure, start with the medium roast. It works in a moka pot, a French press, a pour-over, and an espresso machine, and it forgives a grind that is a little off.
The shop has the three roasts and the custom roast. If you are not sure, write to me at chanda.sayonsom@gmail.com and tell me how you brew.
